ENGAGE WITH CONTENT

• There are two main ways to interact with our content and your dashboard. Clicking the (Like button) anywhere on our site will add whatever you "like" to your dashboard so that you can easily keep track of your likes and go back to them in the future with one easy click. The (Favorites button) will similarly add whatever you "love" to your dashboard. Labeling content as a favorite also makes them available to you and your friends in the search filters (see filters)

• (Note: is also how you help rate/review a business on Parent Living +Plus. We don't have reviews like other sites— which we feel can sometimes be misused. Therefore, we prefer a simpler system of giving a business a thumb-up if you like it.)

• Likes: Once you've given something a on our site, you'll be able to use filter options like "Businesses I've Liked" to streamline your searches to only show businesses, events, coupons, and jobs you've shown interest in.

• Favorites: Mark a business, event, coupon, or job as a Favorite to use filters like "My Favorites" and "My Friends' Favorites" for an even more personalized search experience.

• Support your community and save money! Local businesses are offering great deals to show their appreciation for your support. Save on a variety of services, events, and products. We have three different types of coupons available only to registered subscribers: Standard, BOGO!, and Flash Deals

  • STANDARD Coupons: As with all coupons, simply click the "Details" button to read the details of the offer.

  • BOGO! Coupons: Are searchable by using the appropriate filter buttons on the search filters. Be sure to read the "Details" for BOGO! coupons as expiration dates are often shorter then normal

  • FLASH DEALS Coupons: Are coupons that are only good for 1 day (24 hours), so be on the lookout for them

CALENDAR OF EVENTS

• Our Calendar of Event is loaded with thousands of events—a virtual snapshot of what's going on, where, and how to get involved. Add events you want to remember to your list, or to your list to make them searchable for you and your friends. You can also add events to your own personal calendar by clicking the "Add to Calendar" button (works with iCal or Google Calendar). Links to events can also be shared on your social media page by using the share button, emailed to friends and family by using the email button, or printed out.

JOB SEARCH

• Easily search for local jobs right in your own backyard. Registered users can even save these job opportunities to their dashboard and fill out a simple online application that gets submitted directly to the business that posted the job

FRIENDS

• Add to your experience by adding or inviting friends in your subscriber dashboard.

• Enhance your search results using our unique friends feature. Use filter buttons such as "My Friend's Favorites" to refine your search results in any subcategory to only what your friends have marked with a in any subcategory search
